What are the advantages of BruiseMD?
BruiseMD was created to support the body’s natural healing process. The enzymes in BruiseMD Tablets have been used to support healing of bruises for centuries by breaking down the blood and fluid protein that forms when a bruise (hematoma) occurs. BruiseMD Tablets help accelerate the body's natural healing process and therefore reduces the pain, inflammation and skin discoloration associated with bruising. BruiseMD Tablets are packaged in two convenient blister cards to ensure product safety, allowing easy transport.
BruiseMD also comes in three topical formulations – a gel, a cream and an analgesic balm. All three of these products have arnica Montana as the primary active ingredient. Arnica is a traditional medicine that is well known for bruise healing, and the resulting reduction in inflammation and pain. The BruiseMD Gel also offers a cooling sensation on the skin. The BruiseMD Soothing Cream also contains capsaicin to provide a soothing warm feeling when applied at the site of the bruise. BruiseMD Analgesic Balm has menthol and methyl salicylate, two well known topical pain relievers. BruiseMD Analgesic Balm also allows you to apply and massage the medicine into your skin, ensuring it penetrates deeper into the skin, but also helping break up the dead protein at the site of the bruise, which could also help the bruise heal faster.
How does BruiseMD work?
BruiseMD Tablets contain Pineapple (Bromelain) and Papaya (Papain) extracts, these are proteolytic enzymes that are known to break down protein, and have been used for centuries. When these ingredients arrive at the site of a bruise, they support the body’s natural ability to break down protein, therefore accelerating the healing process.
BruiseMD’s topical formulations all contain arnica montana, which increases blood flow at the site of the bruise, causing a reduction in swelling and inflammation, thereby reducing pain at the site of the bruise. Topical pain relievers were added to BruiseMD Soothing Cream and BruiseMD Analgesic Balm to help alleviate more of the pain associated with bruises.
What results can I expect from BruiseMD?
Visual and physical results depend on the severity of the bruise. With minor bruises, results can be seen in as little as two days. More severe bruises will require additional time to heal. In any case you can expect a quicker healing time than would normally occur without the use of BruiseMD.
Should I use BruiseMD Cooling Gel, Soothing Cream or Analgesic Balm if I have broken or cut skin at the site of my bruise?
The answer is a simple no. Arnica montana, a key active ingredient in
these three products should not be directly applied to broken or cut
skin.
Should I take BruiseMD Tablets with or without food?
Ideally, BruiseMD Tablets should be taken with food, three or four times daily, for maximum performance.
Why are BruiseMD Tablets sold in blister card packaging?
The blister card packaging was created for your safety and convenience. The backing on the card, if not broken, indicates the product is safe. If that backing on the card is broken, discard the product. The blister card packaging also provides a convenient way to carry BruiseMD with you to ensure you can take it as recommended.
Why is there a seal inside the cap of the BruiseMD tube?
The seal inside the cap of every tube of BruiseMD is a safety seal. It is applied when the product is manufactured as a safety feature. If the seal is tampered with or broken when you purchase the product, do not use the product and it should be discarded.
For what types of bruises can I use BruiseMD?
BruiseMD can be used for all types of bruises and contusions (hematoma), regardless of the severity of the bruise. However, if your bruise is the result of an assault or any unlawful act, you should immediately consult a medical and/or a law enforcement professional. It is recommended that any bruise lasting more than two weeks should be evaluated by a physician.
